DC Motor Vehicle Driver License & ID Campaign
Client Need: The DC Department of Motor Vehicles (DC DMV) needed to produce a multimedia public awareness campaign to inform DC residents about the significant changes required on its REAL ID drivers licenses and ID cards. Simultaneously, DC DMV had to launch a niche market campaign supporting its Limited Purpose drivers licenses and IDs for the District’s Latino immigrant population.
Solution: We developed a successful city-wide public awareness/media campaign that included radio, print, online and outdoor advertisements. This covered producing all creative material for the campaign including brochures and a direct mail program targeting DC residents with expiring drivers licenses. For the Limited Purpose driver license/ID campaign, our winning strategy supplied a media campaign that included bilingual (Spanish) radio, print and outdoor advertisements. In addition, we used eye-catching flyers and brochures, delivering a community grassroots program that provided 25 targeted national and local Latino organizations with important, timely, and actionable information. As a result, traffic to the DMV website increased significantly, and the department received a major amount of phone inquiries about these programs.
2013 Annual Report – The District of Columbia Occupational & Professional Licensing
Boards & Commissions
Client Need: The Occupational and Professional Licensing Administration (OPLA) of the District of Columbia Department of Consumer and Regulatory Affairs (DCRA) had to produce its 2013 annual report on-deadline in both print and online versions. OPLA supports nine combined regulatory Boards and Commissions in the District of Columbia.
Solution: We produced a 76-page comprehensive annual report for OPLA, providing original photography, graphic design, editorial, and printing services. The result was an impressive, thoughtful, visually inviting document showcasing the Commission’s numerous accomplishments for fiscal year 2013.
Multicultural Media, Telecom and Internet Council Bi-Annual Conferences
Client Need: Multicultural Media, Telecom and Internet Council (MMTC) produces two conferences each year to bring together industry leaders from the public and private sectors to discuss important policy issues affecting media ownership for minorities in the United States.
Solution: For the past four years, we provided MMTC with conference production services for all conference materials and signage. The work included writing/editing, graphic design and printing. For each conference, we used branding techniques to develop strong, highly identifiable logos and other creative products.
